Suggestions for Putting Together the Ideal Summertime Wardrobe
Here are some of the must-have clothing for summertime:
1. T-shirts and polo shirts (It's best to use a combination of 5-10)
T-shirts are a summertime must-have, but Polos aren't to be overlooked. Polo shirts are a wonderful compromise between a tee and a button-down shirt. They're ideal for smart-casual work ensembles that require you to dress professionally while remaining at ease.
When purchasing mens tshirts, keep the following in mind:
• In terms of colour, I suggest a combination of white and light neutrals, followed by a few subtle summer colours of your choice.
• Pique cotton is something I avoid when it comes to polos. When you picture polos, you picture a thicker, "grainy" looking knit material. Seek for polos produced from linen mixes that are thinner than t-shirt fibres. They're far more pleasurable to wear.
• When it relates to polos, I think white is a little too blazingly brilliant. My go-to polo colours are bluish-grey and ivory, which go with just about any pair of pants.
• I'd also propose light, muted colours for some summertime colours. A subdued olive green is one of my favourite colours.
2. Trousers (Recommended: 4-5)
All summertime wardrobes, in my opinion, should include a combination of trousers and jeans, for a whole of 4-5 min of colour variability. Light jeans are a wonderful change for more casual activities like BBQs or vacation, while trousers are excellent flexible choices for work and vacation.
When purchasing, keep the following in mind:
• To make them more tolerable in the warmth, go for chinos made of lightweight fabric.
• We suggest sticking to softer neutral shades in terms of colour. Grey, beige, and olive are my favourites because they're easy to combine and mix and will handle 90% of your needs. For work, I'd add a navy chino, which looks a little more polished.
3. Shorts (Suggested: At least 2)
When it comes to summertime wardrobe necessities, shorts are a no-brainer. Is it necessary for me to express why?
When purchasing, keep the following in mind:
• Most men likes to wear a combination of chino and drawstring shorts. These two designs provide you with a much more work-appropriate (chino) and a much more casual (shorts) choice (drawstring).
• Simply use the same shopping guidelines as for full-length trousers when purchasing chino shorts. You can combine your chino shorts with any outfit that includes full-length trousers. Seek for chino shorts made of lightweight linen, much like your full-length chino.
• Light cotton and linen materials are my favourites for drawstring shorts.
• For the chino shorts, we suggest tan or grey, as well as for the drawstring shorts, olive or blue.
4. Long-sleeve button-down shirts (Recommended: At least 3)
The boredom of t-shirts and trousers in the summertime is one of the most common complaints among males. Do you know what I'm telling them? Replace your plain t-shirt with a button-down shirt. Roll sleeves up and unzip the top button. Upgraded right away. For business, a few light cotton or linen button-downs are essential. Even if you work in a casual environment, I suggest keeping a few in your wardrobe to keep things interesting.
When purchasing, keep the following in mind:
• You'll be ready for work and pleasure with a white, bright blue, and patterned poplin or linen shirt.
• Camp collar shirts also called Cuban collar or Hawaii shirts are distinguished by the absence of a band between the neck and the rest of the shirt.
• The absence of a collar band enables the collar to fall free, producing a casual, breezy vibe—the ideal shirt for summertime relaxing.
